A&L Medical Communications is a small, specialized online medical editing
and translations company.

Following discussions in 2008 with potential customers who encouraged our idea, the company was founded in 2009. We are currently in start-up phase and while we intend to remain small and specialized, we plan to be big on customer service and quality.

Our mission is to provide healthcare professionals with specialized medical editing and
translation services at a competitive price.

Our future customers told us that they have two major problems when it comes to writing with the intention of publishing or displaying their work. Firstly, they don’t have the time required to edit their work, especially if their first language isn’t English. Secondly, if they’d used a medical writer in the past, the final result hadn’t quite lived up to their expectations as the writer didn’t fully understand the subject matter. For this reason, we decided to match our services directly to our skills and experience and chose to focus on oncology, gynecology, dermatology, neurology and cardiology. We keep abreast of the latest scientific developments so that when it comes to editing and translating we meet your needs more effectively.

Our writers hold degrees in medicine, pharmacy, marketing and linguistics and have extensive pharmaceutical industry experience. We are native speakers of the target language and bilingual in a second language.  

Will we accept work in other therapeutic areas or projects that are unrelated to medicine? Absolutely, but only if we are confident that we can provide you with the quality outcome your project deserves.

We keep to deadlines and stick to our prices. We do not outsource to students.
